Our Programs

Our work is organized around these programs, focused on the Los Lagos Region in southern Chile.

Conservation Impact and Milestones. Results built together with partner organizations and institutions that share our commitment to conservation: 10,000+ ha of wetlands under conservation and management actions · 5 key shorebird wetlands added to WHSRN · 3 marine wetlands with legal protection · 150+ people trained in wetland management and conservation · 33 scientific and technical publications and books · 10 editions of the Curaco de Vélez Bird, Craft, and Tourism Fair · 25+ pieces of infrastructure supporting bird tourism and conservation
