Migratory Shorebirds

The coastal wetland corridor between Maullín and Chiloé sustains more than 20 species of boreal migratory birds, including nearly 99% of the population of the Hudsonian godwit (Limosa haemastica) that migrates from Alaska along the Pacific Flyway.
